Jose is a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester, where he works on the ground-breaking #BeeWell project to promote adolescent wellbeing. He is an experienced researcher, university lecturer, and consultant with expertise in adolescent wellbeing. He is particularly interested in studying how schools, organizations, and communities can improve the wellbeing of children and young people. He has worked as a researcher and lecturer at several Russell Group universities, including Leeds, Sheffield, Glasgow, Cambridge, and Manchester. Jose has been awarded multiple research grants and fellowships, published in leading scientific journals, and presented his work at national and international conferences and seminars. Jose has worked as a consultant on a variety of projects for reputed organizations, including the OECD, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Oxford. He has provided expert advice on adolescent wellbeing measurement in initiatives led by various organisations, including What Works Wellbeing, The Children’s Society, and the World Health Organisation.
